Innovating for an Inclusive Future: 2025 PIVOT Summit

Thank you for making the 2025 PIVOT Summit such a powerful and inspiring experience. Together, we explored bold ideas and transformative strategies to build a more inclusive future, rooted in equity, innovation, and the lived experiences of our communities.

​

This year’s theme, Innovating for an Inclusive Future, was brought to life through thoughtful dialogue, impactful panels, and the powerful insights of keynote speaker Heather McGhee, who challenged us to think deeply about the systems that hold us back and the shared progress we can achieve when we lead together across lines of race and difference.

​

We were proud to announce a new partnership with Community Shelter Board, YMCA Columbus, and YWCA Columbus to support 80 families exiting the shelter system as they work toward housing and economic stability. You can learn more in this Columbus Dispatch Article.

This new initiative builds on the momentum of the Ohio Mothers Trust pilot, a partnership with Motherful and UpTogether that is currently supporting 31 single mothers in their journeys toward long-term stability and economic opportunity. These efforts reflect our core belief: all people deserve the resources and support to thrive.

Our closing speaker, Jeff Johnson, issued a powerful call to action, urging us to lean into collaboration, build meaningful connections, and lead with love. His message reminded us that in times that feel heavy, intentional community and courageous leadership matter more than ever.

​

The PIVOT Summit is more than a single-day event, it is a catalyst for change. From housing and youth to health and economic mobility, the conversations and solutions elevated throughout the day are only possible through continued partnership and a shared commitment to action.
